A small group of Beautiful Savior members were among the 75 volunteers at Camp Perkins’ work weekend May 24-26 to prepare camp for the summer season.
An enormous amount of work was done from cutting firewood, cleaning the retreat center (RC) and the lodge, moving the kitchen items from the RC to the lodge, rebuilding the campfire stage, and refinishing the climbing wall. Many more small projects were also accomplished.
Along with work and fellowship, the group enjoyed time among beautiful snowcapped mountains and Perkins Lake.
Beautiful Savior will hold its 2nd annual church retreat at Camp Perkins in September.
