Music

Choir, song leading, and instrument ministry at Beautiful Savior include a fun and welcoming group of people who enjoy gathering to sing and prepare music for our worship service. Our music is a mixture of contemporary Christian songs and traditional hymns. Please consider being part of our team! Practices consist of a short devotional and prayer followed by rehearsal time. There is no minimum requirement for practice attendance, however the more rehearsals one can participate in the more confident a person feels.

Choir practice takes place weekly from September through April to prepare special music for events such as Reformation Sunday, Thanksgiving, Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter.

Song leaders and instrumental musician volunteers lead the congregation in singing during worship service. Two to four song leaders are needed during each service.  They are generally scheduled to lead regularly, once per month. Song leader practice is weekly and includes instrumental musicians as well.

Small groups of music team members also perform special music throughout the year. You can join in these small groups or be a song leader without officially joining choir. This is a great way to share your musical talent without a regular, long-term commitment.
