Beautiful Savior members celebrated Father’s Day, June 20, with pie, ice cream, and time for fellowship following worship service — the first church-wide fellowship event since the Covid-19 pandemic began.
The event was the brainchild of Carol Ahrens, who organized the event. More than a dozen Beautiful Savior members donated pies, many homemade. Eighty three people were in worship that morning, and the majority stayed afterward to sample pies and visit with one another.
Many thanks to Carol, all who donated pies or volunteered to set-up, serve and clean-up following this fun event.
Fellowship will be a focus of the Aug. 22 Ministry Planning Meeting. Help us brainstorm more fellowship opportunities for our congregation, particularly as Covid-19 restrictions ease.
