BSLC celebrated the joy of Jesus’ resurrection on Sunday, April 7, during the church’s 5th annual Holy Humor Sunday.
The service, introduced to us by Pastor Dennis, gets a bit silly with members dressing in funny clothes or hats and clown noses, sharing jokes and limericks, and singing funny songs. To watch this year’s service, click here.
Why do we do this? As Pastor Dennis shared in his Holy Humor Sunday sermon, “If we can’t laugh in delight in the Good News of our forgiveness in Christ or the victory He won over the devil when He died and rose again, what can we laugh at?”
So together we laugh and celebrate Christ’s resurrection and our redemption through Him.
