Beautiful Savior LWML (Lutheran Women in Mission) would like to thank all of those that were able to join us for the Advent Luncheon on Dec. 7, at Beautiful Savior – our 40th annual luncheon. There were 70 people in attendance, and we enjoyed a nice meal and musical entertainment along with singing lots of Christmas carols.
Katie Kraft from the Special Olympics of Idaho was our speaker and the recipient of the ingathering of sports equipment and the Red Stocking donations. Along with $1,057.71, they received a heavy-duty dolly, three large collapsible wagons to haul equipment, a bicycle stand for bike repairs, tools for repairs, softball catcher equipment, and a baseball bat and mitt. Thank you to everyone helping benefit this worthy non-profit.
