Beginning Years Childcare Center and Beautiful Savior Sunday School partnered to create 60 Thanksgiving placemats for the Boise Senior Center’s 2021 Thanksgiving luncheon.
Kids from the two groups created turkeys using their hand or footprints. Each placemat featured a child’s art and a poem letting each senior know they’re loved.
One childcare parent volunteered at the luncheon and said, “They were so cute and the seniors LOVED them! I love how the school and church is so present in our community.”
