Guy Martin and Matthew Kohtz were confirmed May 19 after a year of studying the Lutheran Catechism and teachings with Deacon Calvin Miller.
They each chose confirmation Bible verses and shared the importance of their selections with the congregation during the service.
- Matthew Kohtz – “Every word of God is perfect. He is a shield to those who take refuge in him.” Proverbs 30:5
- Guy Martin – “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1
